Q: When is the event taking place?
A: The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Q: Where is the event held?
A: The event will be at Riverside Sporting Clays, located at 52400 Hwy. 16, Denham Springs, LA (14.5 miles north of I-10 on Hwy. 16 at the St. Helena Parish Line).
Parking and entrance are behind the Lucky Magnolia Truck Stop/Casino. Shuttle transportation will be provided from the parking area to the registration tent.

 

 

Agenda

Q: What is the schedule for the event?
A: The event will follow this schedule:

  • 8:00 AM: Registration for the first flight of shooting teams.

  • 8:45 AM: First Flight Safety Meeting.

  • 9:00 AM: Shooting begins.

  • 12:00 PM – Until: Lunch.

  • 2:30 PM: Live Auction.

  • 3:30 PM: Awards Presentation.

  • 4:00 PM: Silent Auction and Raffle Drawings.

 

 

 

Registration and Participation

Q: Do I need to register for the event?
A: Yes, all participants must register and sign the Hold Harmless Agreement.

Volunteers

Q: How can I volunteer for the event?
A: Volunteers can register at the volunteer tent and sign up for available duties.

Safety Guidelines

Q: Are there any safety requirements?
A: Yes, safety is a top priority:

  • All shooters must attend the safety briefing prior to their flight and follow all instructions throughout the event.

  • Firearms must remain unloaded with the breech in an open position at all times, except when a shooter is on the stand for their round.

  • No alcohol consumption by shooters prior to completing all their stations.

  • Ammunition should only be loaded into firearms when on the shooting stand.

  • UTVs and Golf Carts must be operated responsibly.

 

 

 

What to Bring

Q: What should I bring to the event?
A: Please bring the following items:

  • Shotgun

  • Eye and ear protection

  • Sunscreen

  • Rain gear (just in case)

  • UTVs or Golf Carts for transportation around the course (ATVs are not allowed).

 

 

 

 

Course Details

 

Q: What is provided on the course?
A: The following will be provided:

  • 12 gauge and 20 gauge ammunition at the shooting stands.

  • Water, food, and restroom facilities at various stations on the course.

  • Team photos will be taken at a designated station.

 

Q: What should I do after completing my flight?
A: After your flight:

  • Continue to follow all safety procedures until firearms are safely stored.

  • Complete your scorecards and turn them in at the registration tent.

 

 

 

Food and Beverages

Q: Is food available at the event?
A: Yes, free food and soft drinks will be available to all participants. Cold beer will also be available with a one-time purchase of a $10 bracelet.

 

 

 

Additional Activities

Q: What additional activities can I enjoy during the event?
A: The event will feature:

  • Silent auctions

  • Bucket raffles

  • Door prize drawings

  • A “Flurry” competition

  • Recognition and Awards Ceremony
